Because everyone wants their fifteen minutes of fame!! If Flavor Flav, Tila, and Bret all fell in love the first time, they would no longer have the TV show, the buzz about them, and the opportunity after the show ends, etc. They just want to be in the spotlight!!
Tila claims that Bobby broke up with her because he couldn't handle her busy schedule. Here is what I think- MTV offered Tila another season because season one got great ratings! She chose to do another season and go for fifteen more minutes of fame, rather than try to make her relationship with Bobby work.

:O damn i didn't know he broke up with her, they make good money off those shows for one....also think about it they don't know those people very long whatsoever and have to get to know them really fast... and are expected to fall in love and make it last?? btw there is going to be a 3rd flava flava!
The Network is trying to give the people what they want. They don't care about overkill, they care about ratings and money. I feel your pain though it is very aganozing. Please not another Charm School (sigh)

That's reality TV. Get people hooked on someone and milk it for all it is worth. You have to realize that those shows are not mean for anything else than make money, the people who go on them are usually just looking for a chance to be on TV and be in the public eye. Tila Tequila was relatively unheard of until A Shot at Love, so the show did a lot for her as a 'celebrity'.
Those shows are just trying to sell ideas. They have no real purpose and just dumb people down.
Remember Domenico from tila?Well,he has his own show coming up on MTV and he also has that drunken cowboy Ashly on it with him.For every reality show like these they keep spinning off people to their own shows.It's either the villians or the underdogs getting shows after getting the boot.Man,if that witch from Rock of love gets her own show i'll puke.Her name was Lacey and she needed mental health help.But i do love these trashy reality shows.Hey,at least i'm honest,lol.
I don't watch these shows, I have a life. but i've seen "new york' and Tila, and New York was totally unladylike and disgusting when she spit out the food that the men made for her, into a silver trash bin, in front of everyone. How tactless, and would YOU want a woman who made barfing noises whenever she ate something that didn't taste 'just right'?

BUT ,maybe bobby broke up with her because the more he looked at her, the more he realized she looks freakishly relative to Yoda, or like she ran into a sliding glass door too many times.

There are two of each show b/c they go in exspecting love come out of the show exspecting it to last but they end up not making it through the relationship, for one reason or another.
It's all about the ratings, my friend. A ton of ratings for a show about finding a mate, will get even more ratings if said person breaks up with their pick and tries again.
I'm sure MTV probably gave Bobby a bunch of money break up with Tila or he just saw her for what she really is.
