How do you think jay and conan did tonight.?!

Question: w/o writers. i watch jay every night not really a fan of conan's but i thought jay was funny. i even watched conan's show and it was smart of him to book all comedians on his show as they can help w/ some jokes and improv stuff. i think it was so uncool of letterman to hire union people and get a deal he she support the writers as well. i guess he isn't a true comedian w/o writers. at least jay and conan are and were stand up comedians. so tell me what you thought a/b the shows. i can't wait for jimmy kimmel. can you tell i'm an insomniac. lol

Yeah, I loved Conan better when he was in the safety net of writers. He tried to enhance their ideas with the OJ Simpson scene again [I'm not sure if there were writers or not at this point], but I do know they had the whole "Murder King" skit for "Burger King." And the first ever scene they showed obviously had writers, because it was way more hilarious.

Jay Leno knows how to handle under the pressure. He's more of his own person, and tremendously supportive of his writers, I must say. But he knows when to make it clear; He may seem hypocritical, but he needs money too! What about the rest of the people who work for him?

Anyways, I think the ratings have gone down for talk shows, but the hosts are really determined to keep it going. And I'm not complaining, 'cos I really missed my daily dose of Leno and O' Brian. =]

I'm glad they're back.

I think they are better with the writers.

i don't know its still 10:20 pm here in california. i do like jay and conan both. I hope they are still funny, i need a good laugh. although i favor conan better than jay because conan does like meaner but funnier stuff than jay. conan is more for adults

i thought they did excellent without writers, both of them got their start writing comedy for others and doing stand up but it was really interesting to see what they did on their own. Conan in my opinion had one of the best shows i've seen with his new beard and studio tour

I didn't watch Conan but Jay was great. I thoroughly enjoyed it mainly because that is the way stand-up comedians worked way back when and it is a lot of fun.

Conan was absolutley marvolous, i loved the beard, and he did a hilarius show, very smart, and made me laugh a lot
Leno was very good to, as was Jimmy....I didint watch Letterman, for he had writers
