Reality TV shows, who is fed up with them?!
Question: Anyone else fed up with reality TV shows, Big Brother, I'm a celebrity, etc. I have watched bits of them and they are just a load of trash. What's good about watching people eat grubs and Kangaroo testicles or a load of whining minnies lounging around doing sod all. anyone who like these please explain why,.

I think we are getting very overwhelmed by reality/celebrity type TV programmes, but they must be popular with a lot of people cause they keep churning the rubbish out, we had the gonna make you "West End Musical" person always hosted by Graham bloody Norton (does no one else wanna present this rubbish), and now we are getting the battle of tribute bands????? good god can programme makers not think of anything original to put on a TV.
thankfully Big Brother Celebrity wannabe tut is being put on E4 so we wont have to put up with that all over the shop, is this because of the overblown "Jade-racist" BB of last year?
Because it reminds me how great my life really is!

I wholly agree with your comments. How people see these TV programmes as entertainment is beyond me. If this is the future of TV then god help us. Give us back the 70's comedies and drama's.

I don't take any interest at all, never did.
Big Brother is the worst of them.
But it's called Progression of Society.
We live in 2008 now, not 1968.
Reality TV had to happen.
Reality TV is there for us to see just how selfish and self contained we are now as human beings.
It's so sad.
every ones fed up with these programs...but they make the tv companys a fortune with people dialling in and voting..so guess they are gonna be around for a long time yet....unless we all stop the phones
Cheap to make and rubbish. They treat the watching public like idiots. A lot are but not all of us are.
Some years ago I got so tired of reality TV, and particularly with the idea that I was paying to watch it, that I smashed the TV and threw it out of the bathroom window.
I have not watched TV since.
yes i am bloody fed up hearing about them ,they are a waste of time boring and a waste of publics money ,get them off the tv now or else the rtv haters will be coming for you we will fight you on the beeches in the air and on the sea and we will win ha ha ha
I must admit I do watch some of them like X factor, but I really can't stand Big Brother, and haven't watched it for about 3 years, I can't see the point of wanting to watch lessies or otherwise getting off on the tv. It's just a gross way of getting noticed on the tv. It won't bother me when it comes on cause I won't watch it anyway.
Its getting a little bit that way, Im afraid.
Apart from the ones that help "real people" who wouldnt necessarily have been able to help themselves in a fast growing industry i.e. The X Factor.

All the blokes at work have never watched them and all the prattling women at work talk about them non stop.

But Meggans Mum......You do have an On/Off switch on your tele and a remote to zap to other Channels. If you don't like RTV Shows fine that's your choice.....we may not like what you watch. It's called Freedom Of Choice.

I'm with you, but you have to admire the TV companies, they get us to pay TV licenses, subscribe to watch their crummy channels and endure endless, mind-less advertising, and all whilst having to also put up with watching what is essentially 'ourselves'; so we pay to watch our selves or our neighbours.
Hey, I have an idea, lets switch off the television set and go and do something less boring instead......lets do away with the greedy middlemen and just go out and experience reality for ourselves!
There is only one mindless type of programme that I hate more than reality TV, and that is 'pretend reality TV'......the so called Soaps!
