Why are the judges on Masterchef such blatant hypocrittes?!
Question: They criticise one person for cooking something bland.
Then they criticise the very next person for cooking something with too much flavour.
Their judging standards change from contestant to contestant, and they make absolutely no effort to hide the fact that their personal feelings about a person are clouding their judgement.

I haven't seen this series but if it is the same judges I completely agree with you.
They are so into themselves it isn't true!
Still it must make good TV or they wouldn't still be there.....I wouldn't bother watching it again as they made me so angry with their facetious comments!
They come across as quite pompous - its only food!..

they look for the person who is most likely to be able to cook masses of gruel for the army and a school in the final, i thought you had to be a good cook to win not able to handle the pressure of some over priced posh persons MC Donald's for 3 hours, maybe if you won it you might not want to open a London restaurant that sells scallops, linguine with salmon, seared tuna on rocket, and all the other same crap that the restaurants the use seem to always sell
When something is bland it tastes naff,and too many flavours on one plate can be over whelming,the flavours have got to blend.
I haven't heard anything personal said bad about the contestants.I think it is just criticism(around their cooking skills and attitude to pressure) that needs to be worked on.
