Why do Asda play the theme tune to Dads Army in their adverts?!

Asda, aka Walmart in the UK, must believe that the song will connect to the viewers, and make them want to go back to the store.

Dont Know, Love the tune though.

It seems their ad agency have observed what Tesco have been doing the past few years and gone minimalist. The Dad's Army theme relates to the Tesco (NAZI) vs ASDA (Allied) arrows marching around Europe in the opening titles.

Who does Tesco think they're kidding? If they think they're cheaper than us.


The big question really is: is this version of the theme available to buy?
