When will the writer's strike end?!

Question: When one side gives in.

I think February sweeps will be critical. If ratings are low, that will give the WGA more leverage in bargaining, since it means that a lack of scripted shows is costing the networks advertising revenue. If ratings are good, that gives the studios an advantage because it tells them viewers aren't interested in quality. So I'm hoping that the ratings during sweeps are abysmal, and the studios give in quickly to avoid a repeat during May sweeps.

Probably no time soon. I think these things can last a couple years. Television series may hurt until they find new writers or the strike ends, however movie's aren't a problem. They usually have enough screenplays backed up to last a couple years.

i asked this same question! and some dude said it'll take four months. =/ sucks! since i was really getting into the office
