Where do they all sleep?!
Question: In the soaps coronation street for instance where does everyone sleep ? In Irenes house there is herself,Jason ,sean,and Violets sister ! and the Platts when sarah was living there with Jason and her daughter and David .

Do you mean Eileen? lol, I agree with you, obviously she has her own room, and I think Sean sleeps downstairs, I only thought there were two bedrooms, so goodness knows where Jason and Lauren sleep. What about the Barlows! At one point they had Ken, Deirde, Blanche, Tracey, Amy, Adam and Peter all living there!

I have often wondered that one myself, the upstairs must hold a lot of people.

Pats in Eastenders was worse, at one point she had eight people including herself in one little house that must only have two or three bedrooms.
It's abit silly.

You could also wonder why no one has a washing machine in Eastenders and all use launderette if you want!

Like all soaps, they miss out on the things that make you belive its real.
i have often wondered this myself, it is one of those soap mysteries like why do people never go to the toilet? why do people never watch tv? why do none of the men talk about football or wear football shirts? and how on earth can they all afford to go to the pub every lunch time and every evening and not all be absolutely broke and alcoholics!!!!!!!
probably have foldup beds they use, that can be folded up and stored in cupboards.
na sarah n jason shared wi bethany so there was only three there. what bout the rovers though? there must bea bout four rooms up there but only ever seen 1 when shelly locked herself away lol and the vic must have loads o bedrooms too!!

I know, but lets face it Corrie isn't as bad when you compare it to Eastenders. The Slaters, Pats house and as for the Vic, my goodness that pub has an endless number of rooms

I know that these are only soaps and are not real but you have a point surely they should try and make them as believable as possible and the fact that there are so many people living in such small houses is not believable. Funny i was just saying the same thing myself to my sister last night while watching corrie bout Eileens house.

They are three bedroomed and also have a back and front room downstairs. In Eileen's Shaun sleeps in room downstairs, she has room, jason has room and Violets sister has room.
In Platts three bedroomed and I know Bethany slept in her moms room the place that gets me is the pub now where does Steve, Michelle Liz and husband AND the two kids sleep now work that one out?
In Eileens house she would need to have 4 bedrooms but apparently Lauren sleeps on the sofa,and all the houses have 2 down stairs rooms and we only see one in Eileens so maybe the other is a bedroom which would leave 2 upstairs for the other 2 people. As for Pats I think her upstairs must be like Mary Poppins shopping bag.
eastenders is just as bad some houses have 3 or 4 familys living in them
