Peyton and Nathan definitely do not get back together in season 4. There IS a flashback where they are together all due to the sex tape of Brooke and Nathan getting out at Nathan's party.

Yeah, the person above me is right, I'll clarify this all. Last season, we found out that when Nathan and Peyton were going out (in season one), right after they broke up, Nathan and Brooke had sex. Neither Hayley nor Peyton knew about this, so when Peyton saw the sex tape (how everyone found out), she punched Brooke (in season three). Nathan and Hayley are still together thus far...(Nanny Carrie is a little less than innocent).
