It was a brilliant first episode so I think we're in for a cracking series.
Didn't realise how much I'd missed Gene Hunt.
The music took me right back to my youth.
Prefer Sam to Alex, but give her time she might grow on us,and the way Gene was looking at her I think there maybe a little romance there.
Can't wait for the next one.
The speed boat scene was pure class!! Loved it....Gene Hunt is a legend!
I thought it was great...I especially liked the zippy and george cameo! I know what you mean about Alex Drake, not sure if she's quite as likeable as Sam Tyler...but it's only the 1st episode. The soundtrack was amazing and heard some songs I haven't heard since I was tiny! I can't wait til next week's episode....it's worth it for Gene Hunt alone.....mmmmm lol!! xx
Watched a bit but found it odd and boring. Will not bother again.
