Question: I don't normally watch this show, but I was waiting for the restaurant to cook my food and they had this show on the television.
During today's (2/15/08) episode, I saw the part where some guy brings this kid a dog, and the kid asks if he can keep the dog. Everyone leaves except for this old lady, who tells the dog that she had to get rid of another dog and then opens up the door and throws a piece of meat out there for the dog to chase.
My question is: what's the story behind this woman getting rid of dogs?

The boy is her deceased husband's son's stepson. They could not figure out who should get the house after her widows death. She was hoping the dog would run away and that his step father would get fed up with her and move out so that she could have the home to herself. She doesn't normally get rid of dogs, lol. She was trying to say that her ex husband was also a dog that she had gotten rid of.
she is living in a home with her deceased husbands son ,,, and he wants to her to not live there,,, she does not want him to live there she wants the house all to herself,,, so there kid had a dog so she threw the meat out to get rid of the dog and upset the family
messing with the dog is jus a way to stick it to her former son in law whom she is forced to live with. her son in law is the guy who brought the dog.
That old woman would be Gloria, when she said she knew another "dog" she was referring to her ex husband Tom.

She is evil! It is just another ploy she is using to stick it to her ex son-in-law. Unfortunately she won a lawsuit that allows her access to her deceased husband's home. The problem is the home is inhabited by the son in law. They both HATE each other (and both have good reasons) anyway, she has been trying to get him and his wife to move out of the house so she can stay there with her NEW hubby who is blackmailing her.
GOSH, just writing this out makes me wonder why I watch faithfully every day. The things these people do in the soaps are so far from 'my' reality.
I am hooked though, so, don't make the same mistake I did and get hooked. Just know that that woman is bad news and will probably be in prison soon (hence the reason her new husband is blackmailing her)
