GH...How did all of it start?!
Question: With all of the feuding between Sam and Liz fans, there are some questions I need answers to. I stopped watching Gh for a while after the whole "virus" thing so I only know the basics. I know Lucky was hooked on drugs and sleeping with Maxie and I know that Sam found out that Alexis was her mother and for some inexplicable reason (gross) slept with Ric. So here are my questions:
1. What happend to make Lucky hooked on drugs and sleep with Maxie?
2. Why on earth did Sam sleep with Ric Lansing of all people? Wasn't he her step-father at the time?
3. Why does Sam blame Jason for not being able to have kids? Did Jason shoot her? I thought Manny did. She chose to be with Jason even though it was dangerous right?
4. Did Jason really start treating Sam like crap because she couldn't have kids? that is what it sounds like when I read some of these posts.
Any help would be appreciated.

1. lucky was shot in the back & taking pain killers. he became hooked on the pills. he and maxie formed a bond/friendship over jesse's death. (jesse was maxie's bf & lucky's partner when he was a "beat cop"). as lucky became more hooked he also became paranoid and began thinking liz was sleeping w/ patrick. he accused her ALL the time (literally it was like the ONLY conversation they had for at least a month's worth of episodes!!) Liz got continually more frustrated, not knowing the root of lucky's bizarre behavior was the drugs. this whole time maxie is fueling lucky's fire against liz. when lucky could no longer get pills prescribed, maxie started stealing them for him or buying them. she got battered up by a dealer, lucky saved her & they ended up sleeping together. maxie kept feeding lucky pills & fueling his paranoia within his marriage.
2. sam & ric slept together to get back at alexis for treating them like the scum that they are. yes he was her step-father at the time. sam felt betrayed by alexis b/c she had found out that after she was shot alexis "convinced" jas to stay away from sam. I forget what was going on w/ ric & alexis but I know he was angry at her for continually pushing him away & controlling him. alexis had had enough of sam blaming all her probs on her mother and was tired of ric, well being ric! she laid into them one night at her house then left. ric & sam got drunk & slept together. which sam, of course, tried to turn around later and say that ric took advantage of her!!! also, jas & alexis saw them sleeping together but did not confront them at the time. jas left the lake house & went home, started drinking; liz had also just found out about lucky's affair w/ maxie and went straight to jas's (of course) and so LIASON was reborn :-)
3. Sam blames Jas for everything that's gone wrong in her life since being shot. Manny did shoot her and yes she always said she'd take the danger to be w/ Jason. Problem is he broke her heart and since Sam can never own up to her own part in anything, it's his fault her personal life is down the tubes... or liz's fault, depends on what day it is! (bring it on sam-lovers!!!) ;-P
4. no jason did not start treating sam like crap b/c she can't have kids!! jas started treating sam like crap the more she got out of control & spiteful. oh and she let a crazy person kidnap jake after she knew he was jas's son, she hired thugs to threaten liz to keep her to scared to be w/ jas after he left sam, she was getting in liz's face- unprovoked- everytime she saw her. jason got sick of her and her excuse that she was making all these bad decisions b/c of her pain!!
lucky was in an accident and had to go on pain meds, he slept with maxie so that he would get more, sam was drunk and on one of her get revenge kicks, sam does blame jason for getting her shot, jason did not treat sam like crap because of the kid thing they grew apart and then she let someone kidnap his son with liz and then it got real ugly, liz came to jason for support with the whole lucky thng and now they are in love and have a son
Well, this is a long and sorted tale. I think Liz and Jason started to become friendly again after Sam miscarried Sonny's baby and she was nice to both Jason and Sam. Then they weren't around each other very much. Then Sam got shot by Manny and Jason broke up w/her b/c he felt his life was too dangerous for her. She begged him to come back but he wouldn't. Sam blamed Alexis for the break up (she felt that Alexis talked Jason into breaking up with her for her own good) and wanted some payback, and that's how she ended up sleeping w/Ric. To payback Jason and Alexis. Both of who saw her doing the deed w/Ric through the window (ironically, that was the night Jason had decided he wanted Sam back.) Meanwhile, when the whole Manny thing happened, Manny kidnapped Liz and somehow (I kind of forget how) right before that happened, Lucky had hurt his back and that's when he had become addicted to pain killers. Anyway, by the time Manny kidnapped Lucky, Lucky was already hooked on the pills. And b/c he couldn't work for awhile due to his injury, he became very insecure about him and Liz and their relationship b/c he doesn't make a lot of money. Patrick was also flirting w/Liz like mad and Lucky became very jealous of them, even though nothing was going on. Then, when Manny kidnapped Liz, Jason was the one to save her. He also paid some bills for Liz, when she got behind on the rent, b/c Liz had helped Sam get some kind of surgery that she needed, when Sam was shot, and Alexis had been opposing it. So, a bond was forming between them. Lucky and Maxie started to bond after Jesse died (Jesse was Lucky's partner and Lucky felt guilty) and when Lucky became addicted to pills Maxie started out by "helping" him get more. She stole from the GH and then she also bought pills for him off the street. Lucky was very jealous of Patrick and thought Liz might already be cheating on him, so he started an affair w/Maxie. That and Maxie got him pills and he felt she was the only one who really understood him, as he was in denial of his problem. Maxie, conniving wench that she was, used the pills to blackmail Lucky into sleeping w/her. Liz found out about the affair and then caught Lucky and Maxie going to her apartment the same night Jason saw Sam and Ric. She ended up going to Jason's house b/c she felt she had no where else to go and they ended up sleeping together. Sam told Jason she slept w/Ric the next day (and how much she regretted it) so Jason told Sam about sleeping w/Liz. Lucky decided to acknowledge he had a problem and went to an ANON meeing the next day, and Liz decided not to tell him about Jason so that he would still keep going to the meetings. So she kept the affair a secret. Then she found out she was pregnant and kept the paternity a secret. When the hostage crisis happened. Liz finally told Jason. At the same time, Sam told him she couldn't have kids, and on top of that, Jason's dad died and he felt regret for not being there and giving Alan a chance at a father/son relationship when he had the chance. Jason was kind of all over the place, dealing w/a lot. I think he saw the baby as a sign of hope for the future, even though Liz felt it would be best if they let Lucky raise him. But, at the same time, Liz couldn't stay away from Jason. Even though she decided to remarry Lucky, she was already secretly in love w/Jason. Then Sam found out about Jake. She tried to get Jason to confess about Jake to her, but he wouldn't. So when Sam saw Jake get kidnapped, she did nothing, b/c she wanted Jake gone. Jason found out and that was the end of him and Sam (she broke up w/him though, just for the record). Then Sam tried to scare Liz away from Jason by hiring some thugs to pretend to attack Liz and the kids in the park. Jason found out and threatend to kill Sam if she ever did anything to the kids. So Sam decided to seduce Lucky and break up Liz's marriage, although Liz didn't really want to be married to Lucky anyway. They divorced and Lucky found out about Jake at the ball. They all agreed to let Lucky pretend he was the father and Liz is now having a secret affair w/Jason, while Sam and Lucky have called it quits.
I think there's a lot of resentment between Liz and Sam fans b/c they both want their girl w/Jason. Liason fans feel they've waited a long time for this and that they are very sweet together, and that Sam doesn't deserve him after what she did to Jake. Sam fans feel the break up wouldn't have happened in the first place if it wasn't for Liz and lies she continues to tell for "the sake of the greater good". Sam can be pretty mean and petty but she owns up to who she is and doesn't pretend to be perfect. Whereas Liz, can at times, act as if she has a moral compass others do not possess, even though she's forcing her son (and other people she claims to love) to live a lie. Yet, somehow, Liz is the good one. I think they're both pretty bad at times, to be honest.
Anti nut said it all. I am a SAM fan. Don't like Elizabeth. She is a lying manipulative hypocrite.
