Funny! I was saying the same thing-esp on tuesday night when the boys sang. I thought Simeon was going to tie her to her chair-she's actually getting really annoying with her silly comments-critique them and move on. It makes her look questionable and like she has nothing productive going on in the upper floors!
She is on something supposedly prescribed for some back condition or something....but I think someone is overmedicating...
I don't think she makes it interesting, I think she makes it nauseating!! Listening to her go on and on and on...why cant she ever just say "loved it" or "hated it" why all the nonsense about colors and auras and brightness? Makes me sick!!

There's no way they would not allow her to come onto the show week after week high on something. That is just the nature of her personality! She's flaky is all.
Everyone keeps saying that they are just noticing this... she's been like this every year. Also, she is getting older, so she's probably having to try harder for her to seem "cool" to the young folks.
I love Paula. She has such a sweet heart and she genuinely wants all of these contestants to go out and give it their all and do their best. So what if she is a little bit "off the wall" sometimes. That's what makes her Paula Abdul for crying out loud. I love the banter between her and Simon. It's like a he said she said every week and makes the show even more-so entertaining. It's like a little side-show...
All three judges are great... in their own ways.
Paula has a serious medical condition and is on medication. She take a lot of flack about the side effects her meds cause and she never ever complains ...Oh poor me. She is a class act.
She's always been this way. Her comments are fairly worthless. I could care less how pretty the girls look. I want critiques of their singing. But she's there for the show I guess.
She has Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and has been very open about it. She's heavily medicated.

I totally agree with you! She has been talking for a really long time after they sing. Also when she does talk its always IT WAS GREAT! Nothing that they need to improve on. I am not sure if it is just her personality to be happy go luck but man I think he might have a glass of wine or something before the show if you know what I mean. HA! She really just holds up the show with her useless talking.

We should focus on her newest single: "dance like there's no tomorrow" It's actually pretty good!

I agree w/you!! She def has been more "silly". I know people are tending to get upset by everyone saying she is drunk or high & on stuff. But the fact of the matter still remains: perscription or not, it is still drugs. And I'm not saying she is wrong for being on pain meds, but it does effect her from acting normal. I'm not bashing her for acting strange, but it is evident she is on something........ I will say though she makes the competition interesting & she has a good heart & really the only judge who tries to up lift the contestants when they are voted off & all upset! (clap, clap, clap, w/ fingers spread....lol)
Paula's even dumber remarks than usual this year is a ratings ploy so people will keep watching the show. It's the same thing for Simon's comments. And it's working.
