Question: I've decided i'm going to try to give this soap a go! (this will make number 6 that i follow.) so my question is who can quickly bring me up to date! i don't really need to know past histories, i can read up on those on Soapcentral.com but who are the main characters right now, and the big story lines? THANKS!

Honestly, as a fan of the show, I can tell you that the storylines are a huge mess! Not just now, but always. Here goes...
Taylor & Nick are getting divorced-- he's still in love with Brooke (they were married before). Brooke and Taylor are enemies, and Taylor just accidentally gave birth to Brooke's baby, through invitro... There was a mix-up in the lab... The baby is Jack.
Taylor & Rick may or may not be hooking up. Rick is Brooke's grown son, and Taylor's daughter Phoebe's ex. Taylor also has a son, Thomas and another daughter, Phoebe's twin, Steffy. Ridge is their dad.
Bridget wants to get back together with Nick and raise Jack... They were married before, and had a daughter Nicole, who was stillborn. Bridget is Brooke's grown daughter.
Brooke & Ridge have been planning to get married (again) for a while now. Ridge and Nick are half-brothers, and hate each other. Brooke is drawn to Nick and baby Jack, but Ridge has given Brooke an ultimatum-- it's either him and their kids (Brooke and Ridge have a son, RJ, together), or Nick and Jack. She can't have contact with them if she and Ridge are going to get married... But of course she has been. So their marriage is put off again.
Currently Pam is threatening to kill Donna. Donna is planning to marry Eric, who is Pam's sister Stephanie's husband. Eric and Stephanie's grown kids (Ridge, Kristen, Thorne, and Felicia) are trying to get Stephanie and Eric back together... Donna is Brooke's sister. They also have a sister, Katie and a brother Storm. He recently shot Stephanie, but that's a whole other story!
OKAY, I think that you're up to date! I hope you can make sense of this, it's all totally crazy!
right now it is brooke n nick with baby jack and eric n donna...just watch it and u will know excactly what is going on
Nick and Taylor are separated because Nick admitted to her he still had feelings for Brooke. Taylor was implanted with Brooke (her enemies) egg . Nick has custody of the baby (Jack), and Taylor has supervised visits because she has a drinking problem and has been unstable lately, mostly due to Brooke being Jack's biological mother.
Brooke and Nick used to be together, now Brooke is with Ridge (for the millionth time), but her and Nick have been seeing each other. Ridge has made Brooke an ultimatum to either choose him and the kids, or Nick and baby Jack.
Stephenie and Eric Forrester are separated. Stephanie would like to have him back and be a family, but at this time he wants to marry Donna (Brooke's sister), that he has been having an affair with.
