simpsons, family guy hasn't grown up with me, and family guy doesn't have the clever humor about current events and issues thrown in there, and anyone who thinks that the simpsons is age appropriate to people under 16, apparently doesn't catch on to these little digs at society and gov't, because you wouldn't even get half the jokes if you weren't old enough to know what is going on in the world, simsons appealed to a younger age when it first hit main stream t.v (after the original sketches) and as that group got older so did the simpson's humor, so all of us mid-late 20's love the simpsons then and now

Family Guy! Simpsons were good but are old now and have not made me laugh in awhile. That movie was pretty bad but they had a good run overall. You have to give the Simpsons for paving the way for other shows like it on prime time television.
