The character Gus on GL?!
Question: I know that the actor is leaving the soap, but I haven't checked any soap magazines in awhile. Do they plan on recasting the part or writing the character Gus off altogether?

he is leaving the show to join the cast of AMC as Dr. Jake Martin. they are suppose to write Gus off the show..but you know soaps, they may change their minds and recast.

Knowing these writers they'll probably kill him off & bring him back as his long lost twin brother. Just kidding, my guess is that since Harley is having such a difficult time with her family & they've had them talking they'll probably put the two of them back together & have Harley & Gus leave for awhile then come back later after it's been recast & the Harley Marina fued will have time to calm down.
