Question: Ok i gotta ask....why do people go all the way to see the show in the studio...I mean that HUGE audience just sitting there...do they do something in particular or what?

The same reason music concerts draw in and fill up arenas: so people can see the bands preform LIVE. Only difference with game shows is--the tickets are free....and people can see in person (albeit at a distance) Pat Sajak and Vanna!!
some people go out to california just to see some shows live.
