Does Anyone Remember A Comedy called Get Some In?!

Question: I collect many Comedys on DVD especially from the 70s, But one comedy i have had no luck in tracing is one called GET SOME IN, which was popular for some years in the late 70s. I cant even find clips from it on the Internet, which is unusual as you can normally finf any clip you want, especially on YOUTUBE. Its almost as though this comedy never existed.

Does anyone else out there remember it, and used to like it like me, and does anyone know if it has ever been on video or dvd, appreciate the help thanks

Yes, I remember it and found this on wikipedia;
Get Some In! was a British television series about life in Royal Air Force National Service broadcast between 1975 and 1978 by Thames Television. Scripts were by John Esmonde and Bob Larbey who had previously written The Good Life. The programme drew its inspiration from National Service comedy The Army Game, and from nostalgic Dad's Army, but the RAF setting gave it enough originality not to seem formulaic. Thirty-four (commercial) half-hour episodes were made.

Strangely enough, the series has never been repeated in full on terrestrial TV, although the UKTV Gold cable channel has aired the episodes uncut.

there is more info on there, hope this helps.

Yes,.......... It starred Robert Lindsay, and Tony Selby.

It was set in post war Britain, and was based around life in an RAF camp during the National Service years.

Tony Selby played the Corporal, (Corporal Marsh) who's catch phrase was always "Phag for the Corporal,....... Light for the Corporal.!" (Yahoo won't permit the proper spelling of fag!) While Robert Lindsay played 'Smiffy' (also occasionally referred to as Mister free eff smiff) Lead character among the AC-2's.

I can't remember who else was on the cast list, but I can remember a character by the name of 'Leckie' from Scotland, and there was the lad who was the son of a Vicar, or Minister, etc. Who, in one episode was nailed to the floor by his shoes, because he wouldn't use any profanities, like 'Blimey' or 'Dammit' etc.

I've never seen on any media, nor am I aware of ever seeing it repeated.

Yeah, the national service guys.. they had a tough `Corporal`. Don`t remember Robert Lindsay to be honest.
