Shannon matthews programme last night??!
Question: did anyone watch the shannon programme last night and think that her mother was more interested what was being wrote in the papers than where her daughter actually was?? And sitting stuffing her face with fish and chips and crisps. If it were my child i think id be too distaraut to even think about eating!!

i did find it strange that they agreed to be filmed before she was found. as if they knew she was still alive. in most cases of child abduction the child is killed within 24 hours. they also were going to sell a story to the paper before the police liason said no. the step father seemed gutted about that. you are right when you say you would not be able to eat. i too would not if one of my 2 were missing and the very last thing i would want is video cameras in my face either. something was definitely amiss and if it does turn out that it was all a scam for money she should be removed from the family permanantly along with the other 6 children.
I did get the impression she was caught up in the excitement of it all.
Didnt see it but i dunno maybe is just this cynical age we live in but i feel there is more to this story than meets the eye ...
maybe we have lost our sensitivity over the years as storys like this are deemed suspect with little actuall proof of any wrongdoing on the familys part .....is it us that should look at ourselves more or something else im just not sure
i also think there is more to this, i did not watch the programme, but, i suppose i am being a bit unkind here, but dont you think shannons mum could have made a bit of an effort apperance wise, yes, she had lost her daughter, but she also knew she was going to appear on national tv!!!, but apart from that oh and the "boyfriend"!!( say no more!!) there is something odd about the whole thing
It didn't take long for her to get the story out.... Wonder how much they paid her....Something strange going on I think...
I wos flabbergasted. They were all acting as if the little girl wasn't even theirs. I thought she could have refrained from stuffing her face while the cameras were about.x
Strange how this programme was aired so soon after her being found and not having returned home yet!
