Can someone help me remember what tv show i am thinking about?!
Question: When I was a very little girl in the early 80s I remember seeing a tv show that showed a scene where a man was trying to escape from either a bubble of gas or some type of matter . the bubble moved over water and i think the man hid from it in a cave. In a episode of the" Simpsons" they copied it one time and showed the exact scene almost except Homer Simpson was trying to escape from the bubble. and i know it wasn't the Blob. The show aired on PBS and was from the United Kingdom and I believe it was made in the 70s

The white blob was actually a weather balloon, but on the show and set they called it "rover."
It was sort of a follow on to DANGER MAN also called SECRET AGENT MAN

it is The Prisoner, a 1967 TV series from the UK. The bubble shows up in the last few seconds of the clip. Good fun.
