Have you been to the taping of American Idol results show? Help!!?!
Question: So I just got four ""tickets"" to the American Idol result show. It says first come first serve. It starts at 5:30 and the voucher says to come at at least 3:30 but I'm sure you have to be there way before.
IF you have gone to a show like this pleeaaase help me here. I really want to go but I don't want to wait in line forever just to find out that all the seats are filled. How early should I get there? Is it worth it? Any experience of going and waiting forever and NOT being able to see the show?

Get there at least by 1 o'clock. 12 noon to be sure.
Bring plastic chairs you don't mind leaving for the homeless.
Bring food or have someone get hamburgers , water and patience.
Make sure your friends are all present about 2:30 when the CBS staff checks your ticket. They don't like to wait.
When you go through the security, they hold your cell phone till after the show. Then you sit on benches and leave a bit of room between you and your friends or you will be squished when you are waiting. Once the whole bench you are sitting on is filled, you can then go to the bathroom.
Have fun and enjoy yourself.
