jason is my favorite!. his voice is so calming and gentle!. he did stumble tonight!.!.!.he was simply out of his element with this music tonight!. i think it was the wrong song for him!.

while, realistically, i don't think he can win, i hope he makes it to the top five!. and his album would be the only one I would buy!.

I love him, but I feel he needs to do another performance like "Hallelujah" to stay in the competition and I really hoped that he would last night, but he just didn't!. So if he's fortunate enough to stay in another week (if Brooke's flub does her in or Syesha or Carly's fanbases aren't strong enough to save them), he really needs to come back strong with an amazing performance, or he could go next week, if he doesn't tonight!. I mean, I love the guy, he's adorable, he's sweet, his laid back style is super-cool, he's unique, etc!. and I'd definitely still buy his CD when he gets one!. I just don't think he's in the same league as some of the other contestants, mainly the 2 Davids!. It doesn't mean he isn't talented, though!. I think Idol has been unfair to the contestants in their song choices!. Let them sing songs everyone knows!. Jason Castro is awesome!. I want to hear him sing Jack Johnson's Banana Pancakes!. I am 51 years old and have 3 wonderful kids of my own!. Hats off to Jason's parents because he seems well grounded and very in control!.
