Question: IN American Idol, what was up with that Big David and Little David Comment!?
Then they made sure to mention how much David A weighted against how much David C weighed!? After that they had a comedian comment about David Cook needing a shave and then mentioning that David A didn't have body hair!? Of course that wasn't even the worst of it!. The diaper comment!? Poor David A!! I thought that whole thing was in poor taste & demeaning!. What is up with AI!? I won't be watching them next season!. I'm tired of Simon, Paula and Randy always trying to manipulate the voting anyway!. When it comes to the last three left they should just keep their mouths shut!. They end up skewing the vote opposite of what they want anyway!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I do agree that the comments about the hair in his private places was too much and would have made me uncomfortable!. it was a little to crude for my liking!. Although I did enjoy the whole boxing theme with a David in each corner!. I thought that was interesting!. I don't think it will make me not watch it again because if that was the reason for not watching it then you would miss out on some really talented people!. There was a whole lot about the show that I liked this year and I won't let some small moment of bad judgement take away from the fact that it is a good show!. And honestly I think people are intelligent enough to make their own minds up about who they like!. I don't think that the judges have that much pull on the votes because if that was the case we would have had different singers in the top two and Simon was pretty sure that David A would win and made that clear obviously America saw it different!. I just think it makes it more entertaining of course that is just my opinion!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

it was meant as a JOKE!. first i don't think they meant to actually insult any one!. if u noticed both were laughing so i don't think they took any offence to those comments!. i don't think the judges had anything to do with manipulating the vote!. they don't tell u who to vote for!. they just give their opinion, and it can be harsh at times!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I really doubt the three judges influence how the country votes in this competition, ESPECIALLY when down to the last few competitors!. Most viewers settle on thier favorites pretty early and will vote for them week after week, no matter what the judges say!. And I also don't believe each week's performance makes any difference to the regular viewers of the program either!.
I'd like to also add that the judges have become so much a part of the show, with each of THEM having their own fans, that eliminating, or, for that matter, replacing any of them, would lose the interest of a LOT of the program's fans!. When it comes to keeping the show on the air, it's not people's opinions that count!. It''s the number of viewers!.
