You see ,that's the thing, no one actually knows who it is that's he's talking to on the phone!. In my opinion, I think it's Peyton!. He has been head over heels for her since the first time he saw her in season 1!.
I don't think it will be Lyndsey because #1 she walked away from him at the alter and #2 she lied to him when she told him she was seeing someone else!. If Lucas was smart he would wash his hands of her once and for all!. She's not good for him!.
That leaves Brooke!. It's possible that it could be her, but I really don't think they would do that because Chad and Sophia were actually married (now divorced) in real life!. I think that would be too weird if they had them get married on the show!. Plus, I don't think Lucas or Brooke would do that to Peyton!.
So, I guess we'll just have to wait until season 6 starts!. I've heard ,from OTH fan sites and message boards, it will start on September 1st, but that could change!.
