the strike interupted the 2nd half of the 2nd season but it will be back in Sept with a 3 hr Premire

The strike lasted for three months!. By the time it ended, the producers and creator felt they didn't have enough time to film a decent story arc before the end of the season!. That, coupled with the obvious problems with season 2, made them decide to instead focus on improving things for season 3!. They've already begun filming season 3, which will premiere on September 22!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
It ended but lackluster in my opinion!. Nathan Petrelli was assasinated as he and Parkman were about to reveal their abilities, and go all X-men on everyone!.
Heroes is returning in the fall I think!. Hiro will be introduced to a new arch nemesis, a chick dubbed a "speedster"!. Supposedly this will be his main enemy although they haven't really wrapped up the whole Adam thing yet!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

yeah that stupid srtike ruined what was to be a really good season!. tom kring decided to only do half a season so as to wrap up the storyline in the event the writer would go on strike!. there was also supposed to be a summer show a/b them before they got their powers that got scrapped and they shortened the shanti virus plot for this reason as well!.
we found out that the guy killing all of the founding company memebers was a guy who was immortal due to his powers(i think his name was andrew) anyway he was a friend in the past of hiro when he time traveled to feudal japan and he felt hiro betrayed him and so he was angry w/him and the world and basically became a mercenary and when the company realized he was a danger in the 70's they imprisoned him!. he a exscaped and when peter time traveled to the future and found there was a virus called the shanti virus killing anyone with abilities he tried to stop it from being released!. he teamed up w/andrew not knowing he was the one trying to release the virus!.
peter survived the finale but had amnesia and was in ireland where he discovered all of his gifts and the company sent an assasin named elle who had the ability to conduct electricity and turned out to be the company's ceo's daughter!.
claire and her family were on the run and moved to california where they were supposed to fit in until claire found a new boyfriend w/the ability to fly like her father nathan and they pulled a trick on a cheerleader and almost exposed claire, but it turned out that her adopted dad,HR had kidnapped west(BF) when he was a kid, when the company found we they were they also sent elle after claire!. in a show down elle was hurt by claire after she shot hr!. then we see that he's still really alive and he had faked his death!.
while in ny nathan and matt are trying to find out who is killing people who formed the company after angela petrelli is attacked and admits to hiro's dad's murder to cover up the truth!. anyway matt finds out his dad is one of the founding members and they go to philly to talk to him and it's revealed matt inherited his gifts from his dad, meanwhile suresh is trying to save molly from a nightmare that she's having and the nightmare man turns out to be matt's dad!.
in mexico we meet maya and alexandro(twins) she can create a deadly virus but her twin can cure it!. and they are running from the police and they run into sylar who has escaped from the company and he he trying to gain all of his powers back!. and he kills maya's bro!. and convinces her it's ok to kill if it's to protect yourself and they head to NY to find suresh and molly!. where suresh discovers that claire's blood is the cure for the shanti virus!.
also noah is sent to new orleans to live w/a great aunt and two cousins whom she's raising b/c their mom died in katrina,anyway monica realizes she has the ability to mimic anything physical she sees and the company trains her on how to use her gift,while nikki b/c a hit woman for the company!. monica is kidnapped trying to get noah's backback from some theieves broke into their house and nikki went to save them and she gets blown up in a building!. we don't know if she survived!.
sylar tries to kill molly and take her gift off locating people w/ gifts so he can still them when elle shows up and seriously wounds himbut in the end he gets away and we see his physical gifts are returning!.
hiro then relizes that andrew and kenzi(friend from past) are the same person and it is he,not angela who killed his dad and goes to kill him but peter is protecting hm until matt and nathan show up and tell him the truth!. hiro imprisons andrew in a grave not far from his dad's knowing he's immortal and won't die!. also nathan is at a press conference when he is shot!.(don't know if he's alive) the next thing we see is angela saying it had to be done b/c nathan was a/b to expose the fact that their are special people w/special gifts in the world!.
