At first I was confused, because of how they kept going back to Claudia and Amanda going to Harvard!. It all seemed so normal!. Then, in the last scene when they're together and Amanda fades into the light and fog, I started thinking, wow, that's way out there, what's that all about!? Then they showed the scene where her father was watching them try to revive someone and I couldn't tell from the bruises and head bandages who it was!. At first I thought it was one of his men!. Then it all became clear when Claudia wakes up and immediately says, "Amanda's gone, isn't she!?" Very well done but I was a little ticked at first that they killed off someone so young and innocent!. I watched it a second time to catch all the nuances!. It seemed as if they Claudia was trying to help Amanda pass into life at Harvard, especially in the scene where Claudia describes how she let her go even though she was afraid to walk into Kindergarten!. But what it really was was that Claudia was helping her pass into the next realm!. Very powerful, and yes, I did cry!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I don't know what it is about this show, but I actually cry every episode!. I think it is just such a heartfelt show with so many painful realities of what our servicemen/women and their wives/husbands go through!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
