The 1996 TV movie is official Doctor Who canon (as the BBC produced it with Universal TV as an attempt to jump-start a revival of the show); the Eighth Doctor had since apppeared in the BBC Books paperback book line and Paul McGann continues in the role in the Big Finish Productions audiobook series (authorized by the BBC and considered part of the official continuity)!.!.!.BBC Radio has aired some of these on BBC Radio 4 and the digital-and-Internet-only Radio 7 in the recent past!. Yes, Paul McGann is officially the Eighth Doctor even though he was only in the 1996 TV movie!. But there have been a lot of novels and comics featuring the Eighth Doctor as portrayed by Paul McGann too - so yep - he's officially part of it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
