Show with bearded bloke in a shed looking at old objects?!

There was a program on television, probably almost 30 years ago now (!) with an old bearded bloke in a shed looking at / trying to identify old objects ('If you turn it this way it looks like an old man's tadger' etc!.)!. It was very short, with shire horses ploughing in the intro and it was on just before the Muppet Show!.

For some reason it's stuck in my memory and I'd like to find out what it was :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
