Question: Was Letterman over the top bc Mcain prioritized!?
Someone needs to inform Letterman that Mcain's #1 priority is to the TAXPAYERS of this Country and NOT the audience on the letterman show! He needs to grow up and get over it!. An apology to Mcain and taxpayers is definitely in line however, that would be an act of maturity!
After witnessing Letterman’s ranting and raving clip on ShowBiz tonight, I for one think Letterman is a pompous as*!. He acts like no one has ever cancelled last minute on him!. I've never seen Letterman loose it when a hung over pop singer cancels!.
I wasn't surprised that the Show Biz Tonight commentators made silly biased remarks however; it was still in poor taste especially during the major financial crisis our country is facing!.
If Mcain chose to remain a POW when he could have left, why the heck does his commitment to the American taxpayers surprise anyone!?!?!? Who's paying his salary; Letterman or the taxpayers!?

I was so ticked at the letterman show that I wrote a letter to cbs telling them to let letterman know that there are more serious things going on than his show !. Prioritized!? You mean by chosing to interview with Katie Couric, skipping Letterman's show, and not leaving for Washington until the next morning!? Comedians have been blasting politicians for years, and will continue to do so, I'm sure!. They're great fodder for material for these late night shows!. I'm betting that if McCain had kept his word, and jumped on a jet to Washington immediately to help deal with the financial crisis, Dave wouldn't have blasted him the way he did last night!. I think that it is acceptable to be miffed when someone passes over you as if you/the show isn't good enough (he was upset because he swapped his slot with Letterman for Couric)!. And you are wrong in thinking that other such incidents haven't been noted!. Most memorably, on Jimmy Kimmel, he had a running gag about Matt Damon, it went on for months!. You need to realize that this is partly a joke, he mentioned it because it bothered him and he knew he could get a few laughs!. You need to lighten up!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
