Question: The young and the restless bad acting!.!?
What do you think about this!. here is my list I think they cant act at all and seem a bit fake like you know that they are acting if it makes sense lol!. The rest of the cast i think are quite good!. Whose acting makes you cringe lol!?
1!. Amber- Phony Voice
2!. Tyra - Model turned actress should go back to modelling!
3!. Current Eden- she over acts, overeacts
4!. Heather- her actions are like a cheer leader voice
5!. Lily- I love CK but personally do not think she is great actress!. her actions are too soft! Www@Enter-QA@Com

I agree with you on all your choices!. I have to add Jill!. She acts like she's so above everyone, and she was pure trash when she came on the show!. I suppose that it's the way her character is supposed to be, but I think she is an over-actor sometimes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Eden is either growing on me or improving because she doesn't bother me nearly as much as she used to!.
Heather's the opposite- she didn't used to bother me!.!.!. now she does!. Something's got to give with her soon!
And Lily!.!.!. i dunno!. I don't think its poor acting so much as poor character choices!.
Honestly Ashley bothers me a lot!. Eileen Davidson is a good actress (her work on DAYS was really great) but whatever direction she's taking Ashley in lately is tough to watch and i question some of her skills!.!.!.
And poor Tracy isn't much of an actress either!.!.!. i think its nice seeing her character but i'm glad she isn't a regular anymoreWww@Enter-QA@Com

i agree with you but now i find the most irritating is billy-his smile makes me cringe!. i would like to say to the person who said amber was a big deal on b&b if that were true she would still be there!. there is an old expression about a sh-- eating grin and it says billy to me and danny too!.as for acting is that why we watch -the acting quality!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't necessarily think it is bad acting as much as it is overly-dramatic!. But, Y&R is after all a "day time drama"!. They are by nature overly dramatic!. That is the way they were intended to be!. I agree with you about Eden!. She annoys me- I definitely think she overdoes it a little!. I think the best actors on that show are the veterans like Jeanne Cooper (Kay Chancellor) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman) and Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman)!.
Keep in mind that some of today's most famous and talented celebrities first started on soaps!. For example: Kevin Bacon, James Earl Jones, Demi Moore, Julianne Moore, Ryan Phillippe, Meg Ryan, Brad Pitt and Marisa Tomei!.!.!.!.!. they all started in daytime!.
Although I do have to say that the only thing that really annoys me is when a character goes "away" and when they come back they have impossibly aged!. Like when Noah went away to summer camp this year as a 10 year old, and he miraculously came back 2 months later as a 15 year old!. I really hate that!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
