Why does NBC not show all Heroes episodes?!

Question: Why does NBC not show all Heroes episodes!?
Unless you work for NBC you probably won't know the answer, so I'm looking for a logical explanation, since I cannot think of one!.

I just finished renting Heroes Season 2 from blockbuster, and I was hoping to watch all 10 episodes of Season 3 online before Monday so I could start watching it on TV with my Heroes-junky friends!. To my dismay, on nbc!.com I can only watch episode 6-10 of Season 3, and hulu says episode 6 will expire soon!. I can't buy or rent those first 5 episodes anywhere, so that means I can't catch up and start watching on TV!. Doesn't NBC want me to watch their show!? I cannot figure the logic behind this!.

What I'm looking for is a logical explanation as to why it would make sense for NBC to only have the last 5 or 6 episodes online, particularly on a show that requires you to watch them in order!.

(And if anyone has a link that actually works to the first 5 heroes season 3 episodes for free without having to take 1 hour breaks (megavideo), please share!)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Because they want you to buy the episodes from iTunes, which generates more revenue for them!. Making a few recent shows available for free means that if you miss an episode or two due to vacation or some other reason, you can catch up!. But if you have several to watch, they want you to pay for them!.

They do have the series on iTunes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Because bandwidth is expensive! Duh!Www@Enter-QA@Com
